Biography
Born in 1905 in Budapest, Joseph Kosma arrived in Paris in 1930 and immersed himself in the city's creative circles, composing chamber works and film scores that echoed the era's longing.
His partnership with poet Jacques Prévert yielded songs for the screen, most famously "Autumn Leaves," and his music continues to stir audiences as he rests in Montmartre Cemetery.
