Joseph Warren Revere

Biography

Joseph Warren Revere (1777–1868) was a successful businessman whose commercial endeavors contributed to New England's economic prosperity during the early American republic. His business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit exemplified the commercial enterprise of his generation.

Revere's long life allowed him to witness and participate in the transformation of American commerce and industry. His legacy as a respected businessman and his family's prominent standing in Boston society are reflected in his interment at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
