Biography

Born in Ohio in 1846, Judson Harmon rose from a modest law office to the governor's mansion, guiding the state through the Progressive Era with an emphasis on fair taxation and the regulation of railroads and utilities.

Even after leaving office he remained a mentor to younger attorneys, a supporter of civic causes, and took comfort in the quiet of Spring Grove Cemetery where he would later join his family.
