Biography

Kaʻiulani, the Hawaiian princess, traveled widely to advocate for her country and to learn the law and customs of the world's powers in hopes of preventing the annexation of her homeland.

Her compassion for her people and her courage in the face of political turmoil remain a poignant reminder of the grace with which she carried herself before her untimely death.
