Biography
Karel Chotek was a Czech photographer whose lens captured images during a transformative period in Central European history. His work in photography contributed to the visual documentation of Czech life and culture in the early-to-mid twentieth century.
Chotek's career spanned several decades, and his photographic work remains part of the artistic and historical record of Czechoslovakia. He was interred at Olšany Cemetery, a final resting place befitting his contributions to Czech cultural heritage.
