Biography
Karel Křivánek was born in 1897 in Bohemia. He lived through the final years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and witnessed the birth of the Czechoslovak nation, experiencing the profound transformations of early twentieth-century Europe.
Křivánek died in 1945 as World War II came to an end. He was buried in the National Cemetery in Terezín, a memorial site dedicated to honoring those who perished during the Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia.
