Biography

Karel Kubát was born in 1885 and died in 1959, living through the most transformative century in modern European history. His life witnessed the fall of empires, the rise of new nations, and the profound social changes of the 20th century.

Kubát's long life allowed him to observe and experience the remarkable evolution of Central Europe from the late Austro-Hungarian period through the mid-20th century. He was interred in Holešovice cemetery, where he is remembered as a member of his community during this historic era.
