Biography
Karel Veselík (1873–1936) was a Czech photographer who documented the visual landscape of his era. As a practitioner of the photographic arts during a transformative period in Czech history, he contributed to the visual record of his time through his work with the camera.
Veselík's career spanned the late 19th and early 20th centuries, witnessing the transition from Austro-Hungarian rule to Czechoslovak independence. He is commemorated in the cemetery in Litomyšl, where he was laid to rest in 1936.
