Biography
Kazimierz Dziurzyński was a dedicated Polish military officer who served his nation during a pivotal period in European history. Born in 1891, he came of age during the struggle for Polish independence and contributed to the development of the Polish armed forces in the years following World War I.
Colonel Dziurzyński perished in 1940 during the Soviet campaign against Polish military leadership. His memory is preserved at the Katyn Polish War Cemetery, where he rests among thousands of fellow officers and soldiers who fell victim to one of history's most devastating massacres.
