Kenny Washington was a trailblazing football player, starring at the University of California and rejoining the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams as one of the first African American players in the modern era, inspiring young athletes everywhere.

After his playing days he continued to uplift communities, mentoring youth and advocating for opportunity, leaving an enduring example of courage and leadership that is honored at Evergreen Cemetery.
