Biography

Kinahan Cornwallis (1839–1917) rests in the New York Marble Cemetery, returning to the quiet stones that shelter many early New York families. His lifespan touched on eras of both turmoil and progress, and he maintained his place within the fabric of the city through the latter half of the nineteenth century and into the twentieth.
