Biography

Konstantin Davydov (1877–1960) was a distinguished Russian zoologist whose scientific career spanned the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. His work contributed to the advancement of zoological knowledge during a transformative period in the natural sciences.

Following the Russian Revolution, Davydov became part of the Russian émigré community in France, where he spent his final decades. He maintained his scholarly interests and connections within the international scientific community until his death, and was buried in the Russian cemetery at Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois.
