Biography
Kustaa Rovio was a Finnish-born Soviet politician born in 1887 who participated in Soviet political and administrative structures. He was involved in various governmental roles during the early decades of the Soviet Union.
Rovio was executed in 1938 and his remains were disposed of at Kommunarka shooting ground, a casualty of the widespread political purges that affected Soviet leadership during the late 1930s.
