Biography
Leon Alexander Zander (1893–1964) was a Russian theologian and religious scholar whose intellectual work addressed fundamental questions of faith and doctrine. His theological contributions reflected deep engagement with Orthodox Christian tradition and contemporary religious thought.
Zander spent his later life as part of the Russian Orthodox expatriate community in France, where he continued his scholarly pursuits. He was buried at Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois Russian Cemetery, a final resting place for many distinguished Russian émigrés who sought refuge in Western Europe.
