Biography

Léon Fagel was a French sculptor born in 1851 who established himself as a notable artist during the 19th century. His works reflected the artistic traditions of his era, contributing to the cultural heritage of northern France.

Fagel spent much of his career in the Valenciennes region, where he became an integral part of the local artistic community. He passed away in 1913 and was laid to rest in Valenciennes (St Roch) Communal Cemetery, leaving behind a legacy of sculptural achievement.
