Lincoln Goodale

Biography

Lincoln Goodale, born in 1782 and passing in 1868, became a distinguished physician and benefactor whose name lives on through the generous public spaces he helped to create. His keen interest in civic improvement and compassion for neighbors guided much of his purposeful career.

His resting place at Green Lawn Cemetery honors the spirit of giving that marked his contributions to education, health, and the flourishing of the community he served.
