Linus Romulus Leonard was born in 1781 and spent his life in service to his community. He was a respected member of society whose contributions to his era left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Leonard passed away in 1841 and was laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery, where his memory continues to be honored by generations of visitors to the grounds.
