Biography

Lionel Queripel was a British military officer who served with valor during World War II. Committed to the Allied cause, he participated in combat operations in occupied Europe, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and courage in the face of enemy forces.

Queripel was killed in action in 1944 during the fierce fighting in the Netherlands. His death represented the sacrifice of countless Allied servicemen who fought to liberate Europe from Nazi occupation. He is remembered at the Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery as a symbol of the dedication and bravery shown by those who gave their lives for freedom.
