Biography

Loren P. Waldo came from a background in law and public affairs, serving in the Connecticut legislature before representing his state in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1849 to 1851.

He returned to Hartford to practice law and to offer measured counsel to civic institutions, leaving a legacy of steady advocacy for the rule of law at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
