Biography
Louis C. Rabaut (1886–1961) served Michigan in the U.S. House of Representatives for more than two decades, becoming known for his steady leadership and his lifelong celebration of American traditions, including the establishment of National Flag Day.
He approached every challenge with good humor and a belief that government could uplift ordinary people when guided by compassion and a sense of shared responsibility.
