Lucy Washington

Biography

Lucy Washington was born in 1772 and lived a full life spanning nearly three-quarters of a century. She witnessed the founding and early growth of the American republic and was an active participant in her community's development during this significant historical period.

Lucy passed away in 1846 at the age of 74, leaving behind a long life well-lived. She was laid to rest in Zion Episcopal Churchyard, a testament to her faith and her place within her religious community.
