Biography
Ludvík Kohl was born in 1746 and devoted his life to teaching, guiding students in the liberal arts and sciences at Prague’s venerable schools while embodying the Enlightenment ideal of the learned pedagogue.
He encouraged curiosity and discipline, helping future administrators and artists find their path, and after retiring remained a respected elder in the academic community before his interment at Malostranský hřbitov.
