Biography
Mabel Birdseye Crawford was born in 1867, just after the conclusion of the Civil War. Her brief life occurred during the Reconstruction era, a time of significant change and rebuilding in the United States.
Crawford passed away in 1868 at the age of one, a poignant reminder of the challenges of infant mortality in the nineteenth century. She was laid to rest at Rosehill Cemetery.
