Biography

Marie Kafková (1920–1997) was a Czech woman whose life spanned most of the twentieth century. Born in the interwar period, she lived through the dramatic transformations that defined modern Czech history, from the pre-war years through the post-communist era.

Kafková passed away in 1997 and was interred at Olšany Cemetery in Prague. Her life reflects the resilience and experiences of Czech women during a century marked by significant political and social upheaval.
