Biography

Marinus Newton Allen (1829–1916) honored every day with a deliberate sense of purpose and compassion for others, making his community richer for the heart he gave to it. He balanced care for family with attention to the larger needs of neighbors and friends.

Resting at Woodlawn Cemetery, he is remembered for the earnest warmth he shared with everyone around him.
