Mark Perrin Lowrey

Biography

Mark Perrin Lowrey, born in 1828, combined military service with civic involvement to serve his state and his neighbors. Known for his compassionate leadership, he balanced the demands of public life with a deep concern for those in need.

Upon his death in 1885, friends and fellow citizens remembered him as a man of principle and genuine care. His final resting place at Blue Mountain Cemetery remains a place where his legacy of service is honored.
