Biography
Matt Urban earned the Medal of Honor for valor that inspired soldiers from Normandy to the Battle of the Bulge, leading from the front even when wounded repeatedly. His open-hearted leadership kept units cohesive and determined in the face of peril.
He spent his later years advocating for veterans, encouraging resilience and remembrance, and now rests peacefully at Arlington National Cemetery.
