Mayer Sulzberger

Biography

Mayer Sulzberger (1843–1923) earned the respect of many through his generous spirit and his dedication to the civic and communal well-being of his neighbors. As a philanthropist and community leader, he helped nurture institutions that strengthened bonds and offered stability to those in need.

He is laid to rest at Mikveh Israel Cemetery, where his memory continues to inspire others to heed the call of service and compassion.
