Biography

Mikhail Nikolayevich Volkhovskoy was a military personnel of the Russian Imperial Army whose service spanned a period of significant change and challenge. He served during the final years of Imperial Russia and witnessed the upheaval of the Revolution.

Following the Revolution, Volkhovskoy became part of the Russian émigré community in France, where he lived until his death. He was buried at the Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois Russian Cemetery, a final resting place for many members of the displaced Russian military establishment.
