Biography
Mikheil Tsereteli (1878–1965) was a Georgian politician whose career reflected the complex political circumstances of the Caucasus region during the twentieth century. His political engagement spanned periods of significant upheaval and transformation in Georgia and the broader region.
Tsereteli's life encompassed the Russian Revolution, Soviet consolidation, and the Cold War era. He found refuge in Paris, where he lived out his final years and was ultimately interred at Leuville Cemetery, a burial ground that served the Georgian émigré community in France.
