Biography

Modest Santolària i Forgas (1853–1919) was a distinguished Catalan actor whose performances graced the stages of Catalonia during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His theatrical career contributed to the development of Catalan drama and the cultural flourishing of the period.

Santolària i Forgas's contributions to the performing arts enriched Catalan cultural life. He was interred in Sant Gervasi cemetery, where his memory is preserved among the notable cultural figures of Catalonia.
