Biography

Moses Robinson was born in 1741 and lived a full life spanning the colonial period through the early decades of American independence. He was a resident of Bennington, Vermont, and witnessed firsthand the dramatic events that led to the creation of the new nation.

Robinson's seventy-two years of life provided him with a deep connection to the community and history of Vermont. He was interred in Old Bennington Cemetery, where he rests among the pioneers and early settlers who shaped the region's character and legacy.
