Nathan B. Morse

Biography

Nathan B. Morse, born in 1799, witnessed the emergence of a new nation and maintained through it all a deep commitment to kindness and civic respectfulness.

His death in 1886 marked the close of a long era, and though details of his daily labors may be scarce, his presence among the honored dead of Green-Wood Cemetery speaks to the esteem his loved ones held for him.
