Biography

Nathan Boynton (1837-1911) spent his life looking toward the horizon, building communities and extending kindness wherever he traveled. His efforts to welcome newcomers and to foster a sense of shared purpose helped shape the region that today carries his name.

Throughout his later years Boynton remained a tireless advocate for hospitable surroundings and thoughtful civic life, earning respect for both his compassion and his entrepreneurial spirit.
