Biography

Nelson J. Ludington applied entrepreneurial energy to the lumber trade and civic affairs in Milwaukee, helping to shape the businesses and public works that sustained a growing city.

He generously supported educational and religious charities, and after his death he was interred at Forest Home Cemetery, where his contributions to the city's character are still acknowledged.
