Biography

Ōmachi Keigetsu (1869–1925) was a respected poet whose literary works enriched Japanese cultural expression during the late Meiji and early Taishō eras. His verses reflected the sensibilities of his time while contributing to the ongoing evolution of Japanese poetry.

Keigetsu's poetic voice resonated with readers and fellow literary figures, establishing him as a noteworthy contributor to the nation's literary heritage. His works continue to be studied and appreciated by scholars of Japanese literature. He was interred at Zōshigaya Cemetery.
