Biography

Oskar Perlin was a dedicated university teacher who shaped the minds of generations of Polish students throughout his academic career. Born in 1911, he embodied the scholarly traditions of Central European academia, bringing knowledge and mentorship to his classroom and institution.

Perlin's contributions to higher education reflected his passion for learning and his commitment to developing the intellectual potential of his students. He lived until 2010, witnessing profound changes in Polish education and society. He was laid to rest at the Evangelical Cemetery of the Augsburg Confession in Warsaw, a fitting final resting place for a man devoted to enlightenment and education.
