Patrick Hues Mell

Biography

Patrick Hues Mell devoted his life to the Baptist ministry and to educating ministers, guiding the Southern Baptist Convention through decades of intellectual and spiritual growth.

Even as the nation weathered turmoil, he remained a calm voice for conviction and learning, and his friends laid him to rest at Oconee Hill Cemetery with gratitude for his pastoral and educational leadership.
