Paŭluk Šukajła was a Belarusian poet and literary figure who contributed to Belarusian cultural life. His work reflected the intellectual currents of early twentieth-century Soviet literature.
Šukajła was executed at the Kommunarka shooting ground in 1939 during the Great Purge, which claimed many talented writers and cultural figures from across the Soviet Union.
