Biography

Peter Dobrokhotov was a skilled gem engraver whose meticulous craftsmanship produced works of considerable artistic and technical merit. His expertise in the delicate art of gem engraving earned him recognition among patrons and fellow artisans of his time.

Dobrokhotov's career in the decorative arts flourished during the early decades of the 19th century until his death in 1831. He was interred at Smolenskoye Orthodox Cemetery, where his memory endures among the graves of other notable cultural figures.
