Peter Schoenhofen

Biography

Peter Schoenhofen (1827-1893) made his mark as a brewer whose passion for quality extended beyond his business to the neighborhoods that benefited from his industry.

Laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery, he is honored for helping shape Chicago’s rich brewing heritage and for the generosity he shared with friends and fellow citizens.
