Philip Howes Sears

Biography

Philip Howes Sears, born in 1819, combined a thoughtful intelligence with an earnest desire to contribute to the wellbeing of his community, taking pride in the relationships he nurtured throughout his life.

He passed in 1898 and was laid to rest at Mount Auburn Cemetery, where the dignity of his life’s work continues to inspire those who visit.
