Biography

Prince Fernando of Orléans was a member of the French royal family during the nineteenth century. As a prince of the House of Orléans, he represented the dynastic traditions and aristocratic heritage of one of Europe's most prominent noble families during a period of significant political transformation in France.

Prince Fernando's life was marked by his position within the French aristocracy, though his time was tragically brief. He died in 1873 at the young age of fourteen and was accorded the honor of burial in the Dreux Royal Chapel, the traditional resting place of members of the Orléans family.
