Biography

Prince Viktor of Metternich-Winneburg-Beilstein, born in 1803, embraced the diplomatic responsibilities of his celebrated family and served abroad with tact while embodying the conservative values of the Habsburg network.

Though his life was cut short in 1829, he maintained the dignity of his house, was mourned by peers, and was laid to rest in the Metternich tomb.
