Princess Henriette of Belgium (1870–1948) was a member of the Belgian royal family who merged aristocratic duties with an affectionate devotion to letters, producing novels, memoirs, and essays that offered keen observations on European society and the shifting fortunes of her extended family.
She spent her later years close to the Orléans court in France, and her final resting place at the Royal Chapel in Dreux keeps her memory among the other European royals with whom she shared a lifetime of dedication.
