Biography

Richard Thomas was a devoted Quaker who lived during the American Revolutionary era and beyond. His faith was central to his identity, and he maintained the principles of the Religious Society of Friends throughout his life.

Thomas lived to the age of eighty-eight and was laid to rest at Friends Western Burial Ground in 1832, a fitting final resting place for a man of steadfast conviction.
