Biography
Rijk Tigelaar was a courageous resistance fighter who risked his life to oppose Nazi occupation during World War II. His bravery and commitment to freedom exemplified the spirit of those who chose to resist tyranny at great personal cost.
He was only 33 years old when he died in 1945, having dedicated himself to the liberation of his country. His sacrifice is honored at Ede Memorial Cemetery, where he is remembered as a hero of the Dutch resistance.
