Biography

Robert B. Roosevelt, Jr. carried the Roosevelt name with dignity, applying himself to the service of his local community while remaining mindful of the legacy of public engagement that defined his family.

He drew strength from that lineage and from his own quiet determination, and when he was laid to rest in 1929 at Saint Anns Cemetery he left behind the impression of a life led with thoughtful dedication.
