Biography

Robert C. Ames was a CIA officer whose fluency in Arabic and deep understanding of Middle Eastern cultures made him a trusted negotiator and bridge-builder. He worked to develop relationships that could ease tensions and fostered mutual respect across difficult political divides.

His life was cut short in the line of duty, but the respect he earned across regions endures, and he was interred with honor at Arlington National Cemetery.
