Biography

Robert Kraus was a talented painter who contributed to the artistic heritage of 19th-century Central Europe. Born in 1812, he developed his artistic skills during a period of significant cultural development in the region, working within the artistic traditions of his era.

Kraus's career as a painter reflected the aesthetic sensibilities of mid-19th century Bohemia. He was a valued member of the Brno Jewish community and is remembered through his final resting place in the Jewish cemetery, where he was interred in 1866.
